Golder appoints Mike Moran, two others as principals at Mississauga office

Mississauga-based soil tester and energy consultant Golder Associates has promoted three new executives — Mike Moran, Toivo Pallop and David Smyth – in its local office in a move that reflects the company’s recent growth.

The three new principals will work out of Golder’s Century Ave. headquarters in  northern Mississauga and are part of 20 new principals the company appointed Tuesday across Canada and its recently expanded laboratory services in Ontario.

Golder has also relocated and expanded its Mississauga operations, built a new lab  in Markham and added new equipment and space at its labs in Cambridge and Whitby.

The company says the new enhancements will allow for improved testing and analysis turnaround times.

“Golder has been working with the infrastructure, construction and land development industries for over 50 years. With eight labs in Ontario alone, we are able to assist a broad range of clients with varying needs,” said Sean McFarland, Golder’s managing principal for the GTA and Ontario.

At its Ontario labs, Golder tests everything from soil and sand and gravel to asphalt and concrete, mainly for the construction industry

The company has over 8,000 employees at 180 offices around the world.
